Hereford Sale Results - 16th October 2010

As mentioned else where on this site we took two bulls down to Hereford, Fulcrum and Frisky.

It is possibly the best day we have ever had at a sale in recent times.

Fulcrum was awarded the Overall Championship after earlier in the day winning the Junior Championship. He was much admired and went on to top the sale at £8400. He was sold to Mr D Jones from Wales for use in his commercial herd as he moves towards Native breeds.

Frisky was Reserve Junior Champion behind Fulcrum and was also well liked. He sold to Cogent UK in Cheshire for £6550.

We feel it is fantastic to have a commercial producer and an AI company showing this much confidence in the breed and can only bode well for the future.
