News & Sales Cosmonaut finally takes off!We are pleased to finally inform you that Romany 1 Cosmonaut A51 C40 has set off for Poland. This bull was bought last summer by Simon Gill of Agro Irlandia, Poland. However owing to FMD and BTV export bans he has only left today! The plan is that semen from this bull will be drawn and gifted to farmers who rent dairy cows from Agro Irlandia, these calves will hopefully provide a better quality of beef than farmers can currently produce from the sires they are using. The hope is to have in excess of 300 calves in the first year. Romany 1 Cosmonaut is by Romany 1 Asteroid A51 ET and out of Romany 1 Dawn R22 A10. You will see he has good performance figures and a positive calving ease figure which is essential for the type of cows he will be working with.
