DIRECTIONS TO COWBOG

Assuming that travel is from the South on M6

Leave Motorway at Junction 44. Roundabout. Take the A7 - signposted to Longtown, Hawick and Galashiels. Keep on A7 through Longtown and Langholm Half way through Hawick ( at the Horse Statue ) bear right on the A698 Signposted to Jedburgh and Kelso. After approx. 10 miles turn right on to the A68 ( signposted -- Newcastle and Jedburgh ) After three quarters of a mile bear left on to the A698 again -- Signposted Kelso. After 4 miles -- turn right on to the B6401 -- signposted Morebattle and Yetholm ( Where you turn right you will see a sign on the Left saying Teviot Smokery ) Keep on the B6401 for 4 miles. On the left you will see a sign saying Cowbog. Turn left down the drive and you are here !

Assuming that travel is from the South on the M1, M18 and A1M

Keep on the A1(M) Newcastle By-pass until you see the A696 signposted to Jedburgh. Keep on this road past the Airport, A696 through Ponteland, Belsay and Otterburn and then over Carter Bar and continue through Jedburgh. Approximately one mile out of Jedburgh bear right onto the A698 -- Signposted to Kelso. After 4 miles -- turn right on to the B6401 -- signposted Morebattle and Yetholm ( Where you turn right you will see a sign on the left saying Teviot Smokery ) Keep on the B6401 for 4 miles. On the left you will see a sign saying Cowbog. Turn left down the drive and you are here !

Assuming that travel is from the NORTH or WEST Edinburgh By-Pass

Travel South on A68 ( towards Jedburgh ) One mile before Jedburgh bear left onto A698. Travel 4 miles. After 4 miles -- turn right on to the B6401 -- signposted Morebattle and Yetholm ( Where you turn right you will see a sign on the left saying Teviot Smokery ) Keep on the B6401 for 4 miles. On the left you will see a sign saying Cowbog. Turn left down the drive and you are here !
